PLAN - Sophomores
The PLAN test is an achievement test measuring academic skill levels in math, science, reading, and English.  The test results show percentile ranks for each test and how the student compared to all the other 10th graders nationwide.  There is also an interest inventory that the student completes that shows them which careers are aligned with their interests.  The results also tell students how they can improve their scores in each of the four test areas prior to taking the ACT in 11th grade.  Watch the student announcements for information about signing up for this test.

Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) - Juniors
The PSAT is a highly competitive test offered once per year to juniors at OHS.  The PSAT measures verbal, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills and provides a comparison of these academic skills to students nationwide.  The results of this test are used to determine National Merit Scholarship winners.  It is also a practice test for the SAT.  The fee for the PSAT is $20.  Watch the student announcements for information about signing up for this test.
